Percy Jackson has had a tough life, he has been diagnosed withattention deficit hyperactivity disorder and dyslexia and has been expelled from several schools, Percy and his best friend Grover are on their way on another field trip, but when Percies teacher Mrs. Dodds pulls him aside things get extremely wierd. -
Percy Jackson- The Lightening Theif, Chapters 4-8, Pages 45- 100
When Mrs. Dodds pulls Percy aside to "talk" to him Percy thinks it very suspicious becasue Mrs. Dodds hates Percy and would do anything to get him expelled, once they were alone Percy's teacher turned into a huge- leatherly beast and attacked Percy, then Percy's wheel chair bound teacher Mr. Brunner gets up and throws Percy a pen. The pen turned out wo be a sword. -
Percy Jackson-The Lightening Theif, Chapters 8-12, Pages100-150
Once Percy gets the pen he realizes that the pen was a sword if you clicked the end, Percy used this sword to fight off and kill his monster teacher. Once the beast was finally killed Percy was shocked, scared, and very curious. He wanted to know wh ythis creature was attacking him, and Mr. Brunner protecting him? He wanted answers and fast. -
Percy Jackson- Thye Lightening Thief, Chapters 12-14, Pages 150-175
Percy begins to understand why all of this was happening to him, his mother explained that he was a half blood. A half blood was a cross between a God and a human. Percy still wanted to understand why this creature had attacked him and why his teacher Mr. Brunner was protecting him. His mom sends him to a camp called, Camp Half- Blood. -
The Lightning Theif, Chapters 14-16, Pages 175-210
Percy arrives at Camp Half Blood and begins to realize taht there are other peopel like him. His best friend Grover is there, and also his teacher. Percy begins to learn more about Hades, Poseiden,Zeus, and all of the Greek Gods. At the end of the first day he learns that his father is Poseidon. -
The Lightning Theif, Chapters 16-22, Pages 210-270
When Percy is told that Zeues Lightning Bolt is stolen, and his father is blamed, Percy is also told that if the Lightning Bolt is not returned by the summer Solstice Zeus would declare war on Poseidon. Percy begins his quest to find the missing Lightning Bolt, his first stop was the Underworld. -
The Lightning Theif, Chapters 21-26, Pages 270-310
Percies journey brings him to Hades home, the Underworld. Percy journies into the Underworld and confronts Hades, accusing him of taking the Lightning Bolt. Hades laughs, and curses that Percy would think that Hades would want to start a war between his brothers. Just as Percy was leaving the Lightning bolt appeared in his backpack, and Hades began to unleash complete rath on Percy. -
The Lightning Theif, Chapters 26-28, Pages 310-327
After escaping Hade's Wrath Percy runs to safety, just as Percy gets safely away he runs inot Ares, the God of war. Ares confesses that he had stolen the Lightning Bolt from its original thief (who is still unknown) Ares explains that he took the oppurtunity to spark the biggest war of all time. As Ares notices that the Lightnign Bolt is in Percies back pack Ares begins to fight Percy. -
The Lightning Theif, Chapters 28-32, Pages 327-364
After battling it out with Ares, Percy rushes to the Empire state building to give the Lighting Bolt back to its owner. Once Percy arrives at the Empire State building his friend Luke is there, look tells Percyt that he was the original Lightning Bolt theif, and that he worshiped Kronos, and that Kronos was planning something big, and was going to take down the Gods. Luke then throws Percy to the ground, and takes the Lightning bolt, as Percy gets back up Luke is gone in the night.
