Plotting and planning:
We are looking at examples of pre-existing children's books on similar topics, discussing our intended age range to focus on, and figuring out the strengths and weaknesses within the group. -
Story Boarding:
We will begin developing a plot and characters for our book. -
First Draft/Feedback/Corrections:
After developing a plot and characters, we need to begin the production of our first draft. -
Event Planning:
We will be contacting necessary individuals as early as February, in order to make sure our event comes together. However, we will not begin in-detail planning until closer to time. -
Reading/Q+A:
We will have our event in May, for that gives us enough time to plan and prepare after we finish writing our book. -
Presentation:
We did it! It's time to take pride in our accomplishments and present our final product!
