    Battle of Marathon
    The Persian Empire attacked Greece with big army. The Athenians were out numbered and couldn't rely on Spartas reinforcement. The Persians were already upset at the Athenians because of Ionian Revolt. Greece won because of their of their unique attacks. They knew that Persian army was much stronger for centre so they attacked that first. I Choose this picture because they it shows the Greeks and the Persians.

    Battle of Thermopylae
    The Persians had about 180,000 men and 1,200 ships. The Greeks had decided to be defeated in the battle of Thermopylae. With the help of Sparta the Greeks went into the battle. A Greek traitor made the Persians aware of the stratagies that the Greeks had. Therefor the Greeks had lost the battle of Thermopylae. I choose this picture because it shows how less people Greece had against the Persians.

    Athens was evacuated and people went to salamis because the Persians burned down Athens. This battle was won by the Greeks. Due their knowledge of their geography the Greeks were able to lure the Persian into a tight pathway where the Persian ships were trapped and attacked.The Greeks had the advantage in this battle. I choose this picture because is shows what the Greeks did in this battle.

    The Delian League consisted of 150 city-states that would continue to fight against the Persians. City-states would give money or remaining ships to the League. Athens used the Money that the Delian League put together to rebuild their city-state. This picture shows which city-state was in the Delian League and who wasn't.
