Recognised nets of cuboids. To draw nets of cuboids.
-
We thought of some good techniques, on how to draw an accurate net.
-
the homework was to draw a net for a box. the mesurements were 8cm x 4cm x 5cm. the box was for bobbys football medal.
-
we drew some nets of shapes but they were very hard, we marked our homework.
-
we made like thease little chip things that at the end of every lesson we put our chip in green, yellow or red.
-
Today we updated our timelines on time toast. We also drew some more nets for complicated shapes.
-
Today we reflected so shapes and drew the mirrored shapes on isometric paper. We didn't use mirrors but I used my ruler to help me guide the mirrored shape.
-
Today I updated my timeline such as this exact event. And I took pictures of my work and uploaded them on timetoast (took a while, but I got there in the end).
-
L.O. To reflect polygons horizontally and vertically and diagonally in labelld lines of reflection.
We reflected shapes to make letters. -
we looked at using vector instructions to translate (move) shapes.
It looks like a fraction but with minus numbers and brackets instead of of a line between the numerator and denominator. -
using vector instructions and relections to move shapes.
-
we were enlarging shapes by the scale factor. If the scale factor was 3 then you would enlarge the shape by 3.
-
WE enlarged shapes using a center of enlargement.
-
we played tetris because kingstone were on a trip we used translating to move shapes in the gaps to fill in the gaps.
-
We learnt about scatter graphs for the first time. We did a homework on mymaths to learn about scatter graphs. At first I didn't get it at all but when I understood it a bit better it was really easy. We learnt about how to descibe a scatter by looking at its correlation and line of best fit.
-
We had a supply teacher that lesson. We did a blue sheet about the correlations of scatter graphs and want they mean. Also the line of best fit and what it shows. Then we stuck in a green sheet which explains what each part of a scatter is.
-
Today we had a go at drawing scatter graphs. The only infomation we got was (the data was about cars in a race), distance from start line and the speed, we had to draw a sctter graph with that infomation it was reletivly easy but the questions after were a little hard.
-
We hunted zombies around Barton with scatter graphs. There were three graphs green, blue and red and we had to find were the zombies were hiding. We found out that they were hiding at the primary school. We were given zombie hunting permits and i put mine in my card holder thingy.
-
We did a recap on pie charts that we did earlier in the year. You know how to calculate the angles that go in to the pie chart. Then we wrote the 5 steps of how to create a pie chart.
-
L.O. To interpret information given in a pie chart.
We looked at pie charts and answerd questions about them. We found out what the different parts of the pie chart are in a fraction. And worked out how many things were in each of the parts by just one peice of information. -
The first part to the homework was to update timetoast which is what im doing now
<----------- look I took a picture of the screen.
