  • Beginning of The End

    After the defeat from the battle of Vienna, the Ottomans were forced to sign a treaty with the Habsburg Empire called the Treaty of Karlowitz. This resulted in the loss of Ottoman territory in the Balkins, and the beginning of the Empire's downfall.

    A group called the Young Turks sparked a revolution in the Empire, calling for the Emperor to be replaced by a constitutional government and modernization reforms. While some change was made, nothing else was done due to WW1
