During Hatshepsut's reign she had helped Egypt gain in trade and had gained land by war. She had ships called Punt which she used for trades. traders had brought rare herbs, spices, scented wood, live monkeys, and potted trees for making incense. -
In The new Kingdom they had their first ever female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. She ruled with her stepson until 1472 BC she had declared herself the only ruler. She wore a fake beard that was only for pharaohs to wear. She built a monument called obelisk,it is a four sided shaft with a pyramid shaped top.The obelisk was made out of red granite and had hieroglyphs on it. She later died in the year 1458 BC. -
Akhenaten's religion didn’t last long. Three years after his death Tutankhamen became pharaoh. Tutankhamen became pharaoh in 1333 BC. He relied on advisors to help him rule and the advisors had told Tutankhamne to reject the new religion and worship their original gods. -
In 1279 BC Ramses the second also known as Ramses the great became king. He wanted to make Egypt powerful by war. With Ramses Egypt had expanded into the African kingdom of Nubia. The empire stretched to the eastern rim of the Mediterranean sea where it bordered an empire called the Hittitites. -
The Egyptians and the Hittites had been enemies. Soon after Ramses became king, he led an army to battle the Hittites. No one had won but Ramses claimed victory, he negotiated with the Hittites and that was known as the first peace treaty in world history. -
Ramses built a city and named it the house of Ramses, the city had a huge statue of Ramses that was 66 foot tall and it guards the city. Ramses had requested the statue to look more godly instead of like him. Ramses had reigned until 1213 BC During Ramses’s 66 years of reign he had helped Egypt to maintain peace, life was peaceful during his reign, and the Egyptian flood became more useful as well. -
Egypt was not the same after Ramses’s death. The central government got weaker and led to many foreign rulers to rule Egypt in 1070 BC. One of those rulers was Alexander the Great. After Alexander’s death Macedonians continued to rule over Egypt.

Egypt’s last pharaoh was Cleopatra, she was als the last Macedonian ruler to rule Egypt. Later on the Roman Empire conquered Egypt.-date 30BC
