First day at sea

Sep 22, 1542

I am a Spanish sailor who has wanting to explor the world sence i was 12. Now i have the chance 20 years later. I am excited for my first trip. There is atleast 50 men on each ship. We have a total of 5 ships.

Our first stop Cape Cross

Jan 6, 1543

We have been at sea for almost 4 months, we made a stop at Cape Cross Africa. We made our first stop because some of the men have got sea sick and we have ran out of food. We aslo found abounch of gold coins and took some with us.

Setting back out to sea

Jan 11, 1543

We are just heading back out to sea. We filled one of the ship a quater fool of gold and sent it on its way ahead of the other ships.

Port Cape of Good Hope

The boat we sent ahead made it to the next stop safely but the rest of us got attacked by pirates on the way to the port. The pirates ended up taking one of our ships and about 34 men for there crew. But we ended up with a spice called cinnamon.

Heading out again.

Mar 20, 1543

We only have about 216 men and only 4 ships. We are now heading out for the third time. We are planing on stoping at two more places. We are going to try to sail longer then jsut a couple of days.

Our Third stop land of Malindi

We ended up lossing another ship. The ship we ended up losing the ship because the men on the ship decided they have gone far enough and turned around to go home. When we got to Malindi we ended up getting some peppers.

Goa here we come

We are about to head to our fourth stop. The citizens of Malindi told us that a port called Goa had some good items we could trade for a little gold. So we have decided to head to Goa and see what they have to trade.

Goa city port stop four

We have now been out at sea for a year. We started with about 250 men and five ships now we have about 166 men and 3 ships. When we go there we ended up buying some fish for the days that we were there. They also have alot of myths on Goa about sea monsters and other mythical creatures.

Here we go again

We ended up losing about 24 men to the myths of the city of Goa. But we alos had a good time as well they had alot of good food and alot of stories. We are now heading to our last stop because we don't want to loss anymorew men.

Final stop Malacca city

We have finaly arived at our last stop. The journy was fun and long but everything has to come to an ended. We lost 2 ships and lost abot 108 men. We ended up finishing our trip with all the goods. We ended up getting potery from Malacca and some more gold.
