This was our first lesson of the Year. This is where we met our lecturer, Trevor. We went through the handbook and discussed the criteria for the year.

This is a timeline to show the events of my studio year.

We used this session to go through the roles of the director and producer. It was in this session where I gained a key interest in becoming a producer.

Working on Camera Scripting and Actor Blocking techniques. We practiced dollying and tracking with the cameras.

Bill Peachment, lighting manager from the X Factor gave us a master class in lighting the set. We learnt about fill, key and back lighting.

My groups idea was green lit for our first assignment which was a live digital arts mash up. This was the start of Vision City.

We practiced our skills by crewing up for a comedy sketch. My role was to shadow Leslie as director.

For work experience, I used my skills learnt from studio and applied them in an industry scenario, a gig performed in the university Theatre by Jamie Cullum - Part of the Bath Fringe Arts Festival. I was responsible for capturing audio.

I had the opportunity to gain work experience by filming at Colston Hall in Bristol to record the TEDx event. I acted as Camera Operator and Editor

I organised this OB shoot for our Viral Bath Assignment and attended as Producer.

I shadowed Rich in the studios whilst making music videos collaboratively with the second year music students.

I organised filming an OB at the Bath Film Festival for our Viral Bath assignment.

Alex Cook and I produced a full feature length edit of a performance made by Monkton Theatre dept. My main roles was Director, Camera Op and Editor. It was a good experience of directing a shoot and editing a multi cam project.

I organised filming the band, State of The Wild, for our Viral Bath Assignment at the Louisiana in Bristol.

I organised filming the OB of band Newton Country at the Komedia for our Viral Bath assignment.

We practiced our skills in the studio with a floral arrangement task. I was P.A for this role.

After working with Monkton school on a previous occasion, they invited us back to capture the Opera event they organised. I took on the role of Producer together with Alex.

Alex Cook and myself gave our presentation for our Quiz Show idea: Don't Quote Me On That.

I was a runner for The BBC's the Big Questions at Bath Spa University. I shadowed the production manager and dealt with finances and looking after the guests.

We used this day as a rehearsal period, practicing the camera script and constructing the set for the Bluffer.

This was the TX date for The Bluffer Game show filmed for Assignment three.
