Journey Begins
My sister asked me to be her maid of honor for her upcoming wedding. I knew this meant that I would be responsible for a lot of preparation.
This relates to Pheonix beginning her journey through the woods knowing she has a long way to go. -
Thorn Bush
There are so many people who expect to be invited to the wedding. Everywhere we looked there seemed to be another person we should include just as Pheonix gets stuck in the thorn bush and continues to get snagged by a thorn. -
Suns getting high
The wedding is approaching fast and there is still so much to do. We start to anxiously measure how much longer we have just as Phoenix looks to the sky exclaims, "Sun so high!" -
Scary Scarecrow
We thought we had lost some important documents for the wedding but it was a false alarm just as the scarecrow frightened Phoenix in the corn fields. -
Pointed Gun
During the rehearsal dinner, it was tradition for the Maid of Honor to write a speech. At first I was nervous but then I realized it was nothing to be afraid of because I had been in worse situations just as Granny has a gun pointed at her but remembers she should not be frightened. -
Arriving at Destination
The wedding is finally here and it is time to celebrate. It has been a long journey and everyone is happy to have their hard work paid off just as Phoenix is happy to finaly arrive into town after her long haul.
