Having music was a necessity growing up, but this reminds me of the tape jamming up and having to take the cassette out and rewinding it back with my fingers. -

We used to rent a VCR and videos to watch on the weekends and it was a treat. Now my kids don't even know what these are! -
First Cell Phone
We thought we were SUPER cool when dad got this cell phone and sometimes let us use it while he was DRIVING!!! -
First Computer
We had one of these at home and I used one at school. Super cool. -
Nintendo
We never had the latest gaming system until the next one was already on it's way out. But we sure enjoyed Super Mario Bros for quite a few years. -
Electric Typewriter
Yep...this is what I learned to type on in Jr. High. Computers were around but must have been too expensive for education....go figure. -
Camera and Film
Remember having to take film to have it developed???? -
Pager
Totally used these on my mission...no phones, but we had pagers and we thought we were totally cool! -
Laptop
I don't remember the first time I used a laptop, but I'm sure it changed my world. Haha. -
Palm Pilot
This is what the disrict gave me when I was a literacy specialist. I hardly used it and didn't miss it when I turned it back in. -
