People weren’t close but didn’t want to talk or do anything with others

    We've Only Just BegunSaint Augustine, Florida became the first European colony in North America. This is important because it was the start of something. This colony helped Florida get to where it is now. The French and Spanish have both tried to colonize what is now Florida but the Europeans were the only ones able to do it. "We’ve only just begun" is about new beginnings and this was a new beginning for the Europeans.

    Believe This was important because this was the first time that the dutch had started a colony in North America. In 55 years they had been building up the colony they had towns, forts, and trading posts. This was important like and new colony they made a difference in history and without them we might have not been living in this state today. Believe is a good example because the dutch had no idea what they were doing and started a colony and in the song is talks about how you should believe in yourself

The marriage of John Rolfe and Pocahontas would keep going and bring peace in between both Jamestown settlers and the Native Americans.Something Big is a good song because John Rolfe bringing tobacco seeds is a big deal. It is what helped Jamestown get better financially. Something big is about something and exciting happening.

    This was an important event because this was a disease that killed a lot of the settlers and 90% of Native Americans.Without this disease things might have not gone the same way. Jamestown might have been built faster. The fever is about being sick and that is exactly what happened in Jamestown people were dying because diseases.

Break The Rules is a good example because it is about people breaking the rule but in history people were breaking the rules it is not normal for people to come together and make laws.

It was the first time since ancient Greece that people were able to make their own laws. Restart is about someone leaving a relationship and thinking it is the right thing to do but others are telling them that it is the wrong thing. This is what happened because there were people who thought they were doing the right thing but people were douting there decision.

It is said that the settlers went into the Native Americans home with food and supplies to sell but the Native Americans grabbed their weapons and started to kill every settler in sight. The Native Americans had killed 347 people. Which was ¼ of the population.Lay me Down represents what happened because a lot of people died and how hard it was for the loved one. That is what the song is about.

Imagination is a good song because it talks about this boy who likes this girl and he wants to be with her and he imagines everything. This is similar because someone did not wake up in the morning and helped slaves by making a law. People always would imagine how life would be and and would get their ideas out there.

    Same LoveThis is when Massachusetts legalized slavery so that everyone would be equal. This is important because people started realizing that slavery is bad and is not the right thing to do.Same love is about equality and this is what happened everyone was given equality.
  • English Civil War

    CrazyCharles l did not have a lot of money and was at war with catholic countries. Charles asked Englanders to pay tax but the parliament refused. The country separated by people who support the king and those who didn’t.Crazy represent this because a boy thinks that he needs this girl to live then changes his mind and realizes he doesn't. This happened because the king wasn't listening to the people and thought he didn't need them and once they were leaving he changed his mind and realized he did.

This act lets everyone to practice their religion with acceptance.Freedom is a good song because it talks about how good and happy they feel about being American.
