  • Louis calls the Estates-General

    Louis called the estates-general to order after many years of not being used. This showed how the revolution had begun to take an effect in the step towards. Unfortunately the large part of the population was in the 3rd estate and they were given little to now power in the decisions
  • Tennis Court Oath

    This was a result from the little respect that the 3rd estate got during the estates-general. They were locked out of there own meeting room so they took control of a tennis court, and would not leave until they had signed an agreement that gave them more power. This was a step that gave a majority of the population more power.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    A hugley blood attack on Bastille by the rebels, there goal was to get gun powder that was stored, but instead they sparked the French Revolution. This was the first time in the French Revoluion blood was shed.
  • Decleration of Rights of Man

    This was a document signed and approved by the National Assembly. It stated that all men were born with guranteed rights to freedom. This showed Frances commitment to becoming a free land.
  • March to Versailles

    A group of women who were frustrated with the extremely high bread prices marched to the royal palace and stormed it taking it captive until a change was made. This was one of the most viloent acts done in the French Revolution.
  • Robespierre Comes to Power

    He was in power for approzimately one year, 1973-1974. He was the leader of the terror and is told that he excersized a dictatorship like power over the entire country. He killed many people by means of the guillotine. He was a dictator who put a somewhat evil mark on the revolution.
  • The Terror

    The idea that for everyone against the main government power, traitors, suspects, people against the revolution were to be killed at the guillotine. This was an age where the French people lived in constant fear of being executed.
  • Robespierre's Death

    He was killed for treason and was a very evil man, but still very wise. Right before sent to the gullotine he tried to kill himself by shooting himself, but he was unsuccessful. This ended the terror period and took a main supported of the guillotines life, by means of the guillotine.
