    The boxers, a gorup of people named for their martial arts skills, wanted to get rid of all foreign influence.

    The Open Door Policy kept foreigners in control, as the foreigners could now all equally trade with China.
  • Communist Party Formed

    Communist Party Formed
    After a revoltion in 1911, two different parties formed. The Communist Party, and the Nationalist Party.

    When The Nationalists tried to get rid of the communists, some fled to northwest China. This became known as the Long March.
