    On Tuesday, Spanish and French students went to Milan. At first we visited the National Museum of Science and Technology.
    The first great part of the museum presents Leonardo da Vinci works. We could see models of his machines and some of his drawings.

    In the transport area we could see some planes, steam locomotives, ships and the submarine Toti built in 1967. We were really imressed by its size.

    In the helicopters' area, some students could check their skills in operating a helicopter through a mechanical simulator and a multimedia station.

    We were all impressed by the Duomo, Milan's Cathedral, that is the most important gothic architectural work in all of Italy. We took a lift to get on the rooftop terraces. There, we could have a wonderful view of the city between the famous spires called the guglie.

    Visit of COMAU Factory in Grugliasco (TO), world leader in the production of industrial robots.
    Two engineers presented us the factory and their research on building and programming robots. Students could notice that some softwares that they discover at school are used in industrial labs.

    During the visit of the robotics' lab some students had the opportunity of to move the robot's arm through a spacial software.

    Visit of the National Automobile Museum : we could see a lot of cars (ancient and new) but we could also discover the progress in the car’s construction.It was very interesting for our boys...

    Official welcome by M Stefano Fava, IT IS PININFARINA headmaster. Then, students presented their works on the Airbus 380 industry in each country and, divided in international teams, they did a quiz on aeronautics.

    The visit of the cinema museum was a great experience. The museum is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, a bizarre and fascinating monument which is the symbol of the City of Torino. We could discover the technological eveolution of cinematography and the collection of costumes that were used in films.

    After visiting the museum we had to wait quite long to take a panoramic lift. Our patiance were rewarded with an extraordinary 360Β° bird's eye view of Turino.

    The time of departure: thanks a lot all the organizers, hosting families and Italian students for their welcome! This meeting was a great experience for all of us.
