  • Mr. Jaggers takes Pip to London

Pip's Great Expectations truly starts at his arrival to London where he will grow and mature the most. The majority of the story takes place in the city and is where Pip's dream of becoming more high-class are nearly fulfilled.
  • Magwitch is revealed to be Pip's benefactor

Magwitch visits Pip when he was twenty-three years old and shows he is in need of Pip's help after giving Pip his Great Expectations. Magwitch showing up creates a great deal of moments where Pip shows his kindness towards others and how thankful he truly was toward his benefactor.

    My life

The day I was born till now.
  • Moves to Fairmont Private Schools

My start of 2nd Grade in Fairmont marks a new spark in my life, for everything I grew up with was in this school. If I had never came to Fairmont, I probably never would've come to Oxford as well, so my life could potentially be very different
  • My visit to Vietnam

One of my few visits to the place my family came from represented a unique experience not everybody got to see. Visiting a country, rich in history, expanded my interest in the world and even gave me a picture of my family's life on the other side of the world.
  • Reconnected with Family

In the course of the summer, I reconnected with many cousins I had once disliked in my childhood. I became more attached to my Dad's side of the family and now, I spend every weekend with them.
  • Oxford acceptance letter

Going to a new school full of untold stories yet to be read is as exciting as it can be. I didn't know what lay ahead, but it actually would determine the rest of my life as I knew it, not just high school.
  • New Hobbies

In the Summer, with nothing to do and after meeting some family friends and their kids, I started to spend time with new people and was exposed to new things. In this process, I became in love with activities I was once very unfamiliar with, such as roller-skating, swimming, and tennis.
  • A week at Big Bear

Spending time at the top of a mountain for weeks definately introduced a period of peace and relaxation. With a lake nearby, I simply laid back and worried about nothing, aside from the summer-homework. I was so relaxed and now, I have high hopes to revisit that phase once again.
  • Interest in Community Service

My entree into new clubs opened my eyes to the excellent opportunities to help those in the community. I went to different places with my classmates I have only seen in school, and yet worked together for others in need.
