    Tennis Court Oath
    Men gathered here until a new constitution was made. They met at a tennis court, hence the Tennis Court Oath. This event ended in the creation of the National Assembly.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Storming of the Bastille
    With the National Assembly being recently created, their was an instant rebellion. This was a definite trigger of the bloody fight about to happen.
  • Declaration of Rights of Man

    Declaration of Rights of Man
    This was a significant event because it abolished all class depictions and allowed men to be created equally. The constitutional monarchy was also created at this time.
  • March to Versailles

    March to Versailles
    Thoousands of unhappy citizens marched to Versailles to show their anger. There was a demand that the king and queen must move to Paris. This also proved that the revolution could no longer be ignored.

    This is the first time the estates general has been called together for 175 years. They now want clergy and nobles to pay taxes. This was the start of change during this time.

    Many were debating on the punishment of King Louis after he was found guilty. He was guilty and did not help during the war. His sentence resulted in death from the guillotine.

    The Terror left so many innocent people dead. Fear of death was among everyone. They thought that killing would bring peace, however it was the exact opposite. Ended with the Commitee of Public Safety, a 12 man government.

    Robespierre had the most accomplishments during the French Revolution. Left France frozen because they did not know what would happen to them next after the death of this significant leader.
