The three Estates were called in about the problems they are having and the conflicts between the Estates. The 3rd Estate was upset because they are the only ones that pay taxes. -

Women's March on Versailles
The women of France were ubset because they heard rumors that the queen was hoarding grains. So they wanted that the king and queen to move back to Paris. -
Escape of the Royal Family
The Royal Family wanted to flee from Paris. So they dressed as servants and had the servants dressed as royalty. It didn't work, and the king and queen were put on house arrest. -
Champ de Mars
The Jcobins were declaring a repulic. They gathered signatures for a petition to overthrown the King. The National Guard solidiers fired at the crowd, killing atleast fifty people. -
Excution of Louis XVI
France's economy is going down and the people are going hungry. Louis XVI was overthrowned and is no longer the king. Louis XVI was put on trial for crimes against the people. He was executed by guellotine on January 21, 1793. -
Reign of Terror
Through July, 1793 and July 28th,1794, this period was called the Reign of Terror. The guillotine was used for thousands of execution. Over 16,000 people were killed by the quillotine, including Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. -
End of Revolution and the rise of Napolean
