Conceived while parents were living in Kuwait.

First stage of pregnancy beginning at conception.

Final phase of pregnancy from the 9th week after conception until birth.

Born 3.5 weeks early at 6 lbs. 13 oz. after 25 hours of labor. Mother had a problematic labor due to the umbilical cord being too short and afterbirth not being expelled leading to emergency surgery.

Biosocial: Normal weight and height development. Never crawled, began walking at 12 months. All physical milestones reached within normal limits.
Cognitive: Active babbler, first word "hot" at 18 months, active talker after that. All developmental milestones reached within normal limits.
Psychosocial: Difficult temperament. Heavy crier, especially when left alone (separation anxiety). -

Biosocial: Normal weigh and growth. Normal eating habits. Clumsy.
Cognitive: Normal language development. Began reading at age 3, teenage reading level by age 6. Performed well in school, skipped a grade at age 5 in England, then placed at normal grade level in the American school system at age 6 (2nd grade).
Psychosocial: Very curious and imaginative. Not very "girly", played pretend with dolls and cars equally. -

Biosocial: Became much taller than her peers due to a growth spurt. Sleeping problems after 1989 earthquake.
Cognitive: Developed a speech impediment (stutter) around age 7, lost English accent around age 8. Performed well in school, well liked by teachers. Standardized testing reported an I.Q of 138. Skipped 6th grade.
Psychosocial: Had trouble with friendships due to multiple moves & correlating changes in schools. Developed low self esteem due to speech dysfluency and being bullied by peers. -

Biosocial: Reached full height of 5'8". Hit puberty. Changed hair color multiple times.
Cognitive: Became self-concious. Became less interested in school, started acting out, and cutting classes. Had trouble focusing in the classroom setting. Graduated high school on schedule. Learned how to drive. Obtained first job.
Psychosocial: Relationship with parents deteriorated. Got in trouble at 11 for shoplifting. Developed friendships with both sexes. Started dating-first boyfriend at 13. -

Biosocial: Began exercising & being concerned about diet. Wisdom teeth became impacted at resulting in infection & 10% loss of hearing in right ear. Started wearing glasses.
Cognitive: Became interested in religion. Entered college. Began to value intellectual thought & accomplishment. Speech impediment persisted in changing levels of severity.
Psychosocial: Began entering into serious relationships. Relationship with father improved, while relationship with mother became non-existent. -

Psychosocial: Married then divorced. Repaired relationship with mother. Became less social; developed stronger relationships with fewer people -
