Muhammad becomes an Orphan
His mother took him to a town many hundreds of miles away to stay with his grandparents but on the way home his mother got sick and died. He then returned to Mecca -

He works as an agent for his distant cousin
In his early twenties he began working for his distant cousin. He took the good she needed delivereed to the north and returned with a large profit. -

Muhammad receives his first revelation
He was disturbed by what Mecca had been teaching so he was spending much time in caves outsde of town. It was one of these times when he was visited by an overpowering presence and was told by it to recite the words as those of God -

Him and his followers move to Medina
Muhammed and his followers the muslims, travel to Yathrib. this place was in civil war and he was asked to come and be a mediator. Once it was resolved the name of the city was changed to Medina and it was the first devout Muslim community. -

The conquest of Mecca
Meccans were not happy that all the power they once had was now focused on Muhammad. As the Muslims and various tribes marched on Mecca, the Meccans realized that the tides had turned so when they got there many joined Muhammad. -

His final years
He eventually returned to Medina after all of his travels where he lived out the rest of his life except his one last pilgrimmage to Mecca. he later died when he returned to medina on June 8, 632 -
His marriage
The widow that he took the goods for saw how hard of a worker and how honest he was and eventually proposed to him. He had six children with her two of which died as infants.
