  • Day 1: Driving to Baker City for Lodging

    1. The roads we will take are the WA-20 E, I-5 S, I-90 E, I-82 E, WA-221, WA-14 E, I-84 E, and the OR-7.
    2. The distance between Oak Harbor and the Swinomish Indian Reservation is 19.2 miles (30.9 km). The distance between Swinomish and Ellensburg is about 175 miles (281.6 km). The distance between Ellensburg and Pendleton is 169 miles (272 km). And finally, the distance between Pendleton and Baker City is 95.8 miles.

    1. The total distance travelled for the day is approximately 459 miles (738.7 km).
    2. We will stop for gas at the Swinomish Reservation, Ellensburg, and Pendleton. At Swinomosh, gas costs $2.87 a gallon and we'll fill up .96 gallons of gas, costing about $2.76 in total. At Ellensburg, gas is $2.75 a gallon, and we'll fill up 8.75 gallons, costing us $24.06. At Pendleton, gas is $2.57 a gallon, and we'll fill up 8.45 gallons, costing us about $21.72.

    1. (cont.) For food, we will buy snacks at the gas stations, spending up to $20 per fill-up. By the end of this day, we will be checking in at the Best Western Sunridge Inn, where we will stay for one night, costing us $68.
  • Day 2: Driving to Las Vegas

    1. The roads we will take on this day are the I-84 E, US-93 S, NV-318 S, US-93 S, I-515 S, and the US-95 S.
    2. The distance between our locations on this day are 168.2 miles from Baker City to Mountain Home, 132.7 miles from Mountain Home to Jackpot, 205.3 miles from Jackpot to Ely, 133.2 miles from Ely to Caliente, and 151 miles from Caliente to Las Vegas.
    3. The total distance for this day is 790.4 miles.
  • Day 2 Part 2

    1. We will wake up around 7:30 this day, and eat breakfast at the hotel, which is free. When we get done we will check out, fill up for gas, and leave Baker City. Gas in Baker City is about $3 a gallon and we have to fill up about 4.79 gallons, which will cost us $14.37. On the way from Baker City to Vegas, we will be making four gas stops, six if we count the gas stops at Baker City and in Vegas when we arrive there.
  • Day 2 Part 3

    The first one after Baker City, which is Mountain Home, has a gas station where gas costs $2.85 a gallon, and we will fill up 8.41 galllons, which costs us $23.97. Next up is in Jackpot, where gas is $2.70 a gallon, and we'll fill up about 6.64 gallons, costing us $17.91. After that, in Ely, gas is $3.25 a gallon, and after filling up 10.27 gallons, we will pay $33.36. Next is in Caliente, where gas costs $3.15, and we'll fill up about 6.66 gallons, costing us $20.98.
  • Day 2 Part 4

    1. (cont.) And finally, at our final destination, in Vegas, gas costs $2.83 a gallon, and after filling up 7.58 gallons, we will pay $21.45. For food, as mentioned before, we will be eating breakfast at the hotel for free, then at each gas stop we will spend up to $10.00 for snacks. In Vegas, we will check in at the Travelodge Center Strip for 3 nights, which will cost $55 per night. So in total, we will be paying $165 for the hotel.
  • Day 3: Living It Up In Vegas

    1. On this day, when we go to In and Out Burger from the hotel, the roads we will use are the South Las Vegas Blvd, East Harmon Avenue, Dunes Road/Flamingo Road, Sahara Avenue. From In and Out to the South Premium Outlet, we will take the I-15 S, W Sahara Avenue, and then S Las Vegas Blvd. From the outlet to Yama Sushi, we will take the McCarran Airport Connector, Swenson St, George Crockett Road, E Flamingo Road, and Esondido Street.
  • Day 3 Part 3

    1. We will be eating breakfast at the hotel once we wake up, then after a few hours, we'll got to In and Out for lunch, where we'll spend up to $20. After that, we'll go to the Las Vegas South Premium Outlet to shop around a bit, spending up to $2,000 for souveneirs and various items, then for dinner, we will eat at Yama Sushi, spending up to $80.
  • Day 3 part 4

    1. (cont.) After that, we will go to the Mirage, where we will watch Aces of Comedy for an hour and a half, which costs about $347.36 to watch ($86.84 per person). Then after that we head back to our hotel for rest.
  • Day 3 Part 2

    1. (cont.) From Yama Sushi to the Mirage, we will take E Flamingo Road, down to Paradise Road, and then to South Las Vegas Blvd. And the from the Mirage back to our hotel, we just go down the S Las Vegas Blvd.
    2. The distance between our hotel and In/Out is 3.7 miles, then from there, 7.6 miles to the outlet, 6.4 miles to Yama Sushi, 3 miles to the Mirage, and 1.1 miles back to our hotel.
    3. For the whole day, we would be travelling about 21.8 miles (35.1 km).
