Kylie's Timeline

  • Graduted High School in 2009

    From Clay High School

  • Married soon after

    We had dated since nearly the 8th grade and due to his enlistment into the Marine Corp and not wanting to be separated, we decided why wait!

  • We were first stationed in Virginia and began renting one of our first 6 rental homes

    Being in the Military meant ALOT of moving and separation; A way of life that we couldn't have imagined.

  • Moved from Va to North Carolina

    We bought our first home right by topsail beach as we learned how to be homeowners.

  • I began college coarses for the first time

    I had no idea what I wanted and what I could do in this small town to make a career so I just did all the general courses first.

  • Moved back to Ohio

    As my Husband was honorably discharged we decided to come back home and settle down. It was nice to not have to move anymore but still a big adjustment! When I first Arrived home I found out I was pregnant with our first child.

  • Adley Mae was born

  • Averie Layne was born next!

    Two and a half years later we welcomed our second daughter to our family

  • What I hope to gain

    I hope to grow as an educator. I feel Phonics and how to teach it is very important to young minds and I hope to learn the best ways to teach these subjects and actually work with a student on this topic!
