Lewis and Clark returned in 1806, bringing with them an immense amount of information about the region as well as numerous plant and animal specimens. If Lewis and Clark had not explored the new land, we may not have moved west into the new areas and settled untill way later years.

If Abe Lincoln would not have been assassinated, we would have had him for a longer period of time, and he may have changed somthing. This is not the most important event by far, but it changed many things including security for presidents and more.
