    After Arthur was given to Merlin King Uther grew ill and died shortly after. Because Arthur didn't know of his lineage, the throne to Uther's kingdom was open and many people tried to discuss and fight over who should get it. Merlin wanted to protect Arthur's rule, so he proclaimed that whoever could pull a magical sword from a large stone was the rightful ruler. Sometimes this sword is associated with excalibur and other times it is not.

    King Arthur marries Guinevere
    In the 1150s King Arthur became quickly attracted to King Leodegran of Scotland's beautiful daughter Guinevere and they soon married after introductions. There have also been stories that Arthur and his army saved Guinevere from an adduction before they married. Another suggests that they met when she asked for safety at his castle and despite Merlin's warnings Arthur took her as his bride anyways

    The Holy Grail was used at the Last Supper and was sought after by many in Arthur's legends.King Arthur and his knights tried to find it but always returned wounded. Sir Bors, Sir Perceval, and Sir Galahad were the only knights who came the closest to finding the cup, but Camelot was not worthy of having it. Because of this they were tasked with taking it to the city of Sarras.

    At just fifteen Arthur was able to pull the sword from the stone. He showed promise of being a strong, compassionate leader and was well liked among his Kingdom.

    Arthur's family
    Arthur had never known anything about his family because his royalty was kept hidden. Arthur had believed all his life that Sir Escor's other son, Sir Kay, was his half-brother. He met his half-sisters Morgause and Morgan le Fay when they came to him after he became king. With the sister was also Morgause's son Mordred. Arthur and his wife learned that when Arthur slept with Morgause the pair didn't know they were related. Merlin warned that his son would betray him one day.

    Knights of the Round Table
    After King Arthur had a castle made in Camelot he requested a space for him and his well-trusted knights.The round table was a huge table that symbolized equality, strength, and brotherhood. Any knights under the King's rule had to earn their seat there and had to be asked to joined after they were knighted. There King Arthur and his knights held meetings there to talk of promoting peace, planning campaigns and other battle plans, and use it to condone plans for other good deeds.

    excalibur was Arthur's prized sword during the Anglo Saxon war. It was given to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake who lived in the magical lake near Bodmin Moor. It is also associated with the sword in the stone. Once King Arthur was mortally wounded by Modred, son of Sir Bedovere (he pledge loyalty to Arthur), he ordered him to return the sword three times before he threw it back into the lake. A hand reached out to grab the sword before it was dragged under and seen for the last time.

    During his rule King Arthur and his knights were trusted to defeat the Anglo-Saxons in the late 5th or early 6th century. The Saxons wanted to to overthrow the land and the King. The Saxons and King Arthur had many defeats and victories during the 12 battles for Britain. The Saxons were finally defeated in the battle called Mount Badon

    Merlin became Arthur's advisor after he became king. Arthur was not the only one who fell in love. Merlin desired for another witch named Nimue. Nimue did not return his feelings but she took advantage of his affections. During their time together Merlin taught her more magic and eventually she was able to trap in a cave with a spell sealing it. Merlin remained in that cave for the rest of his days as Nimue took over as Arthur's advisor.

    King Arthur vs Lancelot
    Once King Arthur found Lancelot and the Queens location he attempted to take control of Lancelot's castle for months. Eventually it ended in a stalemate and it was agreed that Lancelot would go to France as an exile and Guinevere would go back with Arthur. It wasn't told if Guinevere would be sent back to meet her death or to make amends with her husband

    after defeating the anglo-saxons King Arthur returned to even higher tensions. While he was gone people of his kingdom began to question his rule and even planned to overthrow the brave, loyal, hard-working king. Arthur defeated every single person that physically challenged him and was able to quiet anyone else that questioned him.

    Lancelot and Guinevere
    Lancelot was one of Arthur's best knight that was Guinivere's champion, a knight sworn to protect the queen. Soon Lancelot and Guinevere started an affair but were found out by Arthur's knights. Lancelot was able to escape but Guinevere was taken and tried for adultery. Before she could be burned at the stake Lanceloot swooped in and saved his love before returning to his castle with her.

    Battle of Camlann
    Sir Mordred was related to King Arthur as Arthur's half-aster Morgause and King Loth of Norway were his parents. He also could possibly have been Arthur's bastard son if Arthur really did have an affair with Morgause, but unaware that they were related. When Arthur was returning Guinevere Mordred claimed the throne, prompting Arthur to battle for his kingdom. Mordred was killed but Arthur was wounded by a spear piercing through his skull.

    After Arthur bloody death three Fairy Queens sailed with his body to Avalom, a mystical island. it is said he lays on that island sleeping in a hollow hill and will awaken when he is needed.
