The Crusades were a series of religious wars fought between Christians and Muslims over control of the holy land.They fought in the time of Medieval England against the Muslims of the Middle East. In 1076, the muslims had captured Jerusalem- the most holy of holy places of Christians. There was nine crusades in all. In an estimate there was 1.7 million people dead total.

She was national heroine of France, at the age 18 she led the French army to victory over the English. On September 8, the king and Joan attacked Paris. Joan death is by smoke inhalation.
