  • Louis calls the estates-general

    After not of meeting for hundreds of years louis called for and estates general to help the country not turn it to total chaos. At the estates genral all of the 3 estates meet the second and third estate want to clear up estates system but they find themselves locked out of the room where the king is going to sing the declaration of the rights of man.r
  • Tennis Court Oath

    When the second and third estates found themselves locked out of the estates general they said that they would stay and protest in the tennis court in the same building until the decloration was singed
  • Storming of the Bastille

    The protestors had weapons but no gunpowder so they attacked paris's main prison called the bastille because there was lots of gunpowder inside of the bastille this is tought to be the start of the revolution
  • The Declaration of the rights of man

    This was a revoultnary document that was published and said that there should not be any estates and everone should have the same amount of taxes and also have a democracy not a king.
  • The March to Versallies

    Lots of women went to the kingds palace and slaughtered the guards and captured the king and brought him back to paris
  • Attacks on prisons

    During the start of the terror protestors go through big prisons slaughtering everone in sight 27,000 people die
  • Louis's Trial

    Louis was already known to be guilty but has to go to trial to aqquire his punishment which is death by beheading
  • The Terror

    The people of the revolution got a little overzealous and started killing people if they did not firmly support the revolution. The gillotuine beheaded at it's peak 8000 people a month. The reign of terror finnaly ended in the end of july in 1794
