The United Nations voted to split Israel between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The Israelis liked the idea but the Palestinians rejected. The Palestinians atteck Jewish state,the Jews won and soon after they took over more of the land that the Palestinians lived on -
six day war
Egypt sends away the United Nations and things between the Israelis and the Palestinians got worst. The Israelis prepares their army for an atteck and Syria, Jordan, and Iraq joins the war with the Palestinians against the Israelis. The Jewish takes away East Jerusalem, West Bank, Gaza and Sinai, and the Golan Heights from all three of the contries. -

The Israelis that live in West Bank and in Gaza have made Settlements. In these settlements the Jewish believe the OT belongs to them. Jewish communities have sfe zones that don't allow Palestinians to farm and be able to use Jewish roads. -
Yom Kipper war
Egypt and Syria attecks the Israelis on the Jewish holiday Yom Kipper. Syria and Egypt gains back their land in Sinai and in the Golan Heights. Israelis start to move away from parts of Sinia and the Golan Heights. -
Peace Maker
Egyptian president takes a visit to Jerusalem and the U.S president, Jimmy Carter helps make peace between Egypt and Israel. Egypt is the first Arab nation to recognize Israel. The Israelis decide to withdraw from the rest of Sina. -

The Palestinians became more angry because the Israelis still had the West Bank and Gaza. The Palestinians attecked the Israeli soliders b throwingnstones at them as a way for the Jewish to give them back West Bank and Gaza.
