    The Balfour Declaration was an aggrement that the Arabs would get thier homeland if they fight with the Allies. The problem with this declartion is that at the same time the land was promised to the Jews for thier homeland as well. This problem lead to who get the homeland of Isreal.

    Afetr the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the British Empire became control over Palestine. The British better the life for the Jews and the Arabs that lived there. The british job was to implement the Balfour Declaration, to give Jews Palestine as thier homeland. The british remained in control till 1948 when Palestine beacme its own state, Israel.

    The Holocaust lasted from 1933-1945. During this time millions of Jews were being murdered and worked to death by the Nazi Army under Adolf Hitlers command. Over six million Europen Jews were killed. This was due to the persicution and wrongly accused by Hitler and his followers for extrem dislike towarrds Jews. The Jews left Germany after the Holocaust ended and went to Isreal to live.

In the Yom Kippur War of that year, Egypt and Syria, with the support of other Arab nations, launched a military campaign against Israel on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar in order to regain Arab territories lost to Israel in the 1967 Six Day War.The United States chose to re-supply Israel with arms.

    Soviet Union sent thousands of troops into Afghanistan and took complete military and political power. since 1955 Moscow had provided military training and materiel to Afghanistan. In 1979 Moscow whanted to replace Tarki and Amin. This promoted Carter to supply non-lethal aid to Islamic insurgents. Soviets left shattered, which later opened room for Bin Laden to lanch terrorist operations worldwide.

    On the 17th July 1990 Saddam Hussein, the President of Iraq during this time, accused his affluent neighbours Kuwait of producing too much oil and of stealing oil from the Rumaila Oil Field. US Apache Helicopter attacked in Iraq. After this many US planes flew sorties over Baghdad and other areas of Iraq bombing military targets.Within hours of the first coalition strikes Saddam Hussein started using SCUD missiles to target Israel and nations supporting America.

    President George H.W. Bush had a falling out with an ally in his conflict with Iran. Iraq's Saddam Hussein was an enemy of Iran and a supposed friend of the United States. However, all of these ties with Iraq ended with Iraqs invasion and occupation of Kuwait, a small oil producing nation. From August 1990 to mid- January 1991, America and he rest of the world tried to reason with Iraq. Weeks later, Operation Desert Strom was in full force.

    The central Asian Battalion(Centrazbat) was fromed in December 1995 to keep peace between central Asia. Nine contries including the U.S. participated in the exercis for military operations for United Nations. The U.S. was willing to assist with traning for Centrazbat because it will enchance reginal stability and increase interoperability among NATO and pfpnations. The other countires belived the only reason the U.S. was invloved was because of the new finding of oil in the area.

    The 1998 United States bombings were a series of attacks tht occured on Agust 7, 1998 in which hundreds of people were killed in simultaneous truck bomb explosions at the embassies of the United States in the East African cities of Dar es Salamm, tanzania. The date of the bombings marked the eighth anniversary of the arrival of American forces in Saudia Arabia. The attacks were linked Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri terrorist organization al-Qaeda to the attention of the Americans.

    224 people were killed in Kenya including 12 Americans by a bomb that entered in a truck at the rear entrance of the embassy at 10:35am. in Nairobi. In Dar Es Salam 10 people were killed in Tanzania that bombed another U.S. embassy at 10:40am. On August 20, the U.S.fired 75 Tomahwak missiles at facilities in Afghanistan and Sudan in retaliation to the terrorist attacks. Bin Laden and 20 of his followers, who were all cahrched with the bombings and put on FBI most whanted.

    The U.S.S. Cole bombing was a suicide attack against the U.S. Navy guided-missiles destroyer. On October 12, 2000, the U.S.S Cole was harbored and refueled in the Yemen port of Aden. This event was the deadliest attack in the Middle East against the United States Naval vessel since 1987.

These attacks aganist U.S. was in relations to the support of Israel by America.

    The U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as the associated increases in spending national security that resulted from the attack of September 11, 2001, reversed the relative fall in defense of the 1990s and contributed to the large deficits of George W. Bush era. Not only affected American foreign policy but had a profound impact on the federal budget as well.

In late 2002 and early 2003, Bush urged the U.N. to enforce Iraqi disarmament mandates, precipitating a dipolomatic crisis. The United States invaded Iraq on March 20th 2003. The Iraqi military was quickly defeated.
