  • Steam Engine

    The Steam Engine was invented by James Watt in 1698. He was an enginer and he wanted to improve the steam engine. The steam engine runs onwater, it is boiled to steam witch activates the gears to move and power a machine. James Watt revolutionized the industrial revolution because he improved the steam engine to work better and for longer hours, his invention powered the industrial revolution.
  • Spinning Jenny

    It was invented by James Hargreaves. It was a machine that made threads of yarn a lot faster than how people used to make threads of yarn. The Spinning Jenny could also spin more than one ball at once to speed up the procces. This invention speeded up this procces so fast that inventors had to find a way for spinners to keep up.
  • Cotton Gin

    The Cotton Gin was invented by Eli Whitney. The Cotton Gin was a machine that quickly seperated cotton fibers from its seeds. He revolutionized how cotton clothing was made in the United States, but his invention later led to American Slavery. Before the Cotton Gin was invented it took a very long time for people to seperate cotton fibers by hand, and when the the Cotton Gin was invented the productivity of seperating cotton fibers form its seeds was a lot faster.
  • Light Bulb

    The lightbulb was invented by Thomas Edison, he created the lightbulb for a source of light and he successfully tested his prototype of his lightbulb and it lasted for about 13 hours. he applied for a patent on November 4, 1879 and it was granted a year later.
