The expedition starts off with 34 men lead by Possuelo, a great scout of the Amazons. We head into remote areas of the Amazon to locate the Flecheiros, an uncontacted tribe, without making contact.
-
We came across a "freshly hacked sapling, still dangling by a thread of the bark." Luckily for us Possuello stops and notices this. He tells us that it bears a warning that means stay out or go no further.
-
We passed through the Kanamari Indian settlements and most agreed that the Flecheiros are dangerous people and that they don't interfere with their teritory. Possuelo says this is good because the Flecheiros end up becoming protectors of this land and forest.
-
Possuelo estimated the the evidence left behind here was left extremely recently so we leave a machete and a knife as a peace offering before we left. Later two of our men wonder off and we do not know their location.
-
We sent out a search party to find the men and found out they had gone past the "gate from earlyier into a settlement of about 14 huts and that the Flecheiros have dispersed into the forest
-
We camp by the river and assume that the Indians had taken the two people from out group. Luckily they found us again and we continue on with our journey.
