When we encountered a typewriter, we were told how difficult it is to use it because if ever we made a mistake, we'll have to repeat the whole document because there is no delete function in this machine. There was also a time when one of us always see his grandfather hold an newspaper but not to read all the news but to answer the crossword puzzle as his priority.

I remember when we first had a transistor radio it was located in our nipa hut beside my grandfathers house. It was used to listen to news but it is often used to listen to music when taking a breather. As a kid, one of the best memories is watching tom and jerry in a small model type of a television.
