Without Britain we would have had ti fight someone else for our freedom. If it was someone else the fighting might have not ended the way that it did; we might not have our freedom or we might not have gotten it at the time that we did.

We cannot say that without Britain we would not have the colonies because someone else might have founded them, but we can say that without Britain the colonies defiantly would have not been the same. Our customs and culture would not be what it is today without Britain.

Without the help of Britain we might not have had enough supplies or soldiers to finish fighting, let alone actually win. We defiantly owe Britain a thank you for all of the help that they have given us.
