In 1940s and 50s We see WW ll and the Korean War, and we begin to see progress emerge in sense with women in police. Men were needed for the wars so that opened up doors for women in policing.
We also see two acts: the civil rights act and equal employment opportunity act. -

In the year 2001 through 2020 there has been many devastating things. In the US there's been so many mass shootings that I became normalized and children fearing going to school. Terrorism kept on going no matter what we did. Later on within these years and 2020 people began to hate on the police because of events that happened. And the sled to staffing problems within the police force. And then of course as we all know COVID-19 hit. Which put everyones health at risk.
