  • Rise of the kingdom of sumer

    It was aroud in about 2900 B.C.E.Sumer was located in Mesoptamia. It was located near the tiber and the euprathes river. They had a a Social structure which in includes the king,priest,government officals,and slaves. The city had many great advances in technology.

  • The epic of Gilgamesh

    Happened about in 7th century B.C.E according to royal library.Gilgamesh was a wise and brave king who did everything for the city of Uruk. In the epic Gilgamesh and Enkidu go into the cedar forest and successfully kill Humbaba.

  • Abraham

    Happened in about 19oo B.C.E.Abraham is the basic root of all the monotheistic religions. He was born in Ur.Abraham was forced to sacrifice his son. After his wife heard she was heartbroken.

  • Hummurabi's Code

    Happened around 1792-1750 BCE.Hummurabi a king. He was a very strict as some would say or very fair as others would say. His code was "an eye for an eye". If you did something wrong you would recieve something back in return; basically is what his code talked about.

  • Joesph goes to Egypt and the Israelites follow

    Happened in about 1700-1280 BCE.

  • Moses the Exodus from Egypt, and the ten commandements

    Happened for about 1280-1240 BCE. The ten commandments are what god gave us to follow. Moses was sent by god to tell the paraoh to let the people go. He eventualy did. He didnt although make it to the promise land.

  • Siege of Lachish

    701 BCE. The Lachish reliefs show the misery in war. While being defeated. They show a cyclye of war.The king would seize cities that didnt follow his order.

  • Siege of Jerusalem

    587 BCE. Both envovle war. They have kings that take over. Also they involve a king that does terrible things.
