Chapter 2
Huck and Tom start a gang. Huck is influenced by Tom because Tom influences Huck to think that these practices are right and that stealing is right. -
Chapter 3
Huck is influenced by Miss Watson. Miss Watson punishes Huck for getting his clothes dirty. She also tries to teach him how to pray. Miss watson influences him by making Huck more religious. -
Chapter 4
Over the next month Huck does well in school and learns to read and right from Miss Watson and Widow Douglas. They are big influences on him because later on Huck writes a letter to a girl later. -
Chapter 7
Huck escapes from Pap's house and makes everyone believe that he was murdered. Huck is influenced by his dad because he does not like is dad, and he is afraid of him. -
Chapter 8
Huck and Jim became friends and start their adventure to escape into free states. Huck is influence by Jim because he is convinced by Jim to help him. -
Chapter 10
Huck puts a dead rattlesnake near Jim's sleeping place. Later that night the snakes mate comes and bites Jim. Huck feels terrible about what he did. Huck is influenced by his dad because he has seen his dad do bad things that Huck might think is right. -
Chapter 13
Huck tells the ferryman to check on the wrecked boat that the robbers are on. He worries about the robbers and wonders if they are alright. Huck is influenced by Miss Watson because he knows it was wrong to leave those people on the wrecked boat. -
Chapter 16
Huck confronts men on a raft who were looking for runaway slaves. Instead of giving Jim up he says that his family is on board and his father has the small pox. Huck knew it was wrong not to turn Jim in but he would have felt even worse if he did. Huck decided that he would do which ever comes handiest at the time. Huck is influenced by Miss Watson because she taught Huck what was right and wrong. -
Chapter 23
The duke and dauphin scam $465 from a town.. Huck is influenced by them because he knows that stealing is wrong. -
Chapter 26
Huck puts the $6000 in peter’s grave. He is influenced by the duke and dauphin because he knows that stealing this money is wrong, and that the sister’s should have the inheritance. -
Chapter 31
Huck finds out that the dauphin sold Jim. Huck decides to save jim and rescue him. Huck is influenced by the Dauphin because he realizes that this is wrong and jim should be free. -
Chapter 32
Huck pretended to be Tom with the Phelphs family. Huck is influenced by Jim because Huck is pretending to help Jim become free. -
Chapter 33
Huck and Tom meet and go to the Phelps house. Tom lies and says that he his is half brother Sid. That night they snuck out of the house and saw the Duke and dauphin being chased out of town. Huck is influenced by Tom because the things that he has done with Tom make huck believe that they are right. -
Chapter 35
Huck comes up with a plan to help Jim escape from captivity. He is influenced by Jim because on their adventures Jim shows Huck that slavery is wrong
