After world war I. Imperialism came to the Middle East and destabilized what was stable before. Causing ethnic, religious and cultural groups to fight for territory and there different beliefs. This has caused and sparked civil wars to happen and for extremist groups to grow. This has made large wars and large conflicts to happen all around the region. -

These two topics connect because not only did the Middle East just get this way but, it is becoming more and more chaos after more and more conflict is piling up. All of these passed events and current events are affecting the political instability which will cause issues in the future for the Middle East. -
