A group of people stormed the Bastille, a prison in hope for ammunition. This date is now the French independence day. -

Committee of Public Safety conducts the Reign of Terror.
Maximilien Robespierre was in charge of this committee. During this period 30,000 "Internal Enemies were killed. -
Second constitution is established
The directory altho being corrupt makes the second constitution. The ideas in this were to show how they could be a Republic. -

The Directory

Napoleon's Coup D'etat
Napoleon peacefully overthrows the Directory. In his first few years of rule he makes life in France better, buht he crowns himself Emperor. He sets on a quest to take over all of Europe.
