First Group Meeting
Met with Peter at Starbucks to talk about the Center of Life and Hazelwood. He told he wanted our group goal to be promoting the community in a positive way. -
Group tour at Hazelwood
We went to Hazelwood to see the Center of Life and where everything is run. We also toured the town so we could get an idea of what we wanted to do for our project. -
Second Group Meeting
We met with Peter at campus Starbucks to talk about the upcoming events at Hazelwood. We decided with such short time toward the Safe Halloween event we are going to focus on fundraising for the light up night. We also decided we want to try to get the KRUNK group to perform at a Duquesne women's basketball game and have the kids go to a men's game. -

New Safe Halloween Date
The Hazelwood Initiave is having this event for the kids in Hazelwood. Our group will be attending and helping set up and give out candy to the children. -
Fundraising event
We have not set an exact date for fundraising but we plan on doing something to raise money for the Hazelwood light up night -
Light Up Night at Hazelwood
Our group will be attending this event and helping out. It is for the community of Hazelwood but similar to the Pittsburgh light up night -
Center of Life goes to Duquesne Men's basketball game
A date has not been set but we are in the process of trying to get tickets for the Center of Life group to come to a men's basketball game. -
Krunk performing at Duquesne Women's basketball game
We have not set a date but our group is in the process of trying to get the KRUNK group to perform during halftime at a women's game.
