I, Christopher Columbus, am sailing the ocean blue in 1492 in search of a route to india in order to trade spices. I quickly made a port in the canary islans for a final restocking and left there on September 6th, 1492. I was in command of three ships, The Pinta, the Santa María, and the Santa Marina. EvenThough I was in overall command, the Pinta was captained by Martín Alonso Pinzón and the Niña by Vicente Yañez Pinzón.

two weeks in and the weather is starting to change, its becoming colder. I dont know how many of us will make it all the way.
-
Three weeks in and we're running low on food and soon the only thing we wil have left to eat is the spices we're suppoed to be trading.
-
On October 12, Rodrigo de Triana, a sailor aboard the Pinta, first sighted land. I howver did not give him the credit i promised and took it for myslef. Later i named the island we first landed on San Salvador.
-
We found more land, hopeful that this one is china. I have just sent out Rodrigo de Jerez and Luis de Torres to investigate. They have both failed to find the emporer.
-
We are leaving what we thought was china, all disappointed but still hopeful we will make it.
-
As we're getting prepared to head back this time ive gotten 17 ships and over a 1000 men to join me and help me on my journey. We've made it back from our first journey and we have found land. Although it was just uncharted china. With that we had also lost one of our ships and we did not bring back gold or any othe valuable items we're going back to try again.
-
Two weeks in and my fleet and i are already exploring the Gulf of Paria. IN this process we have also discovered smaller islands and a freshwater river.
-
AS we continue our final journey my fleet and i are very exciited and hopful of what we could find based on what we have already found. Although it is august and the weather should start to chnage soon, I think we will have found what we need before then.
