    The Greeks found bronze and started creating things with it around 3000 BCE

  • Late bronze age

    The Greeks had bronze but other things were being created and beating their bronze around 1600 BCE

  • Linear B writing

    The Greeks started using Linear B writing around 1450 BCE

  • Mycenaean culture

    A Greek culture that started around the end of the bronze age and lasted to around 1000 BCE

  • Trojan war

    The Greeks were at war and fighting the Trojans and the Greeks won with a giant wooden horse around 1250 BCE

  • Classical period

    A lot of sculpture things happening and improving sculpting such as emotions in sculpting around 480 - 323 BCE

  • Sub-Mycenaean Period

    Was about the early iron age around 1180 - 1050

  • Proto-Geometric Period

    Athens starts making a certain pottery called Proto-Geometric pottery around 1100 - 900 BCE

  • Geometric period

    A period when there was a transformation in Greek society and the population dramatically increased around 1100 - 900 BCE

  • Late Hellenistic or Greco-Roman

    Roman invasion throughout Greece around 146 - 30 BCE

    Greece was defeated by the Roman empire and ended around 30 BCE

    The destruction and abandonment of the Mycenaean culture and culture centers around 1100 - 700 BCE
