Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw a bomb to call attention and get arrested so they would use the trial and talk about their ideologies. Kashmir is ruled by a Hindu but the majority of the population is Muslim. Because of this, both Muslims and Hindus say that Kashmir belongs to them. They begin to fight in this year and are still fighting today.
