    Robspierre started his reign of terror in his mid 30's he was a very persuasive powerful speaker that was able to get people to listen and believe what he waa telling them. He made the accusation that in order for the revolution to live on the king must die. He was a strong person who later became the reason for his downfall making many people loose thier head making him a major person on thier hit list.

    2 wars at the time did not help either with keeping costs low. Having the 3rd class pay for all costs got them nowhere, and when they hired a guy to help them come up with a resolution who they later fired because he wanted to tax the 2nd and 1st classes and they didnt like that.

    The national assembly wrote the Declatation of the rights of man meaning that every man is equal to eachother. This led to everyone paying taxes. This only lead to the nobles being upset from not being exempt from taxes anymore, causing more unrest within frances borders. moreover, when the women marched to Versaiiles to demand bread from Queen Marie Antonette. The group of women were made up mostly of large stocky build peasant women who worked at fish markets.

    Divided French Society

    France like the rest of Europe still had an outdates social system of classes, or erstates. The way it was set up was the 1st class was the Clergy and people of the church. The 2nd class was the nobles and Royalty, and the 3rd class was the Burgeoisie(middle class) and the serfs and peasants. The 1st 2 classes did not have to pay taxes but the 3rd class had to pay all. This led to vast amounts of debt in France. Being in 2 wars before and still having all the people in the 3rd class

    Declaration of rights of manAs bread prices flared, the peasants were growing more and more upset with the monarchy for not helping them with their problems causing more and more riots in France. Moreover, rumors were spreading about troops seizing peasants crops, and attacks on towns and villages causing mass upset in France leading to the revolution really going into full swing. Moreover, all the revolts in France causes the national assembly to come into power Here they abolished Feudalism and wrote the decleration

    With France being close to bankruptcy, people rioting over lack of bread and nobles worried about them being taxed the king called the estates-general to meet in Versailles. Before they came they were told to prepare Cahiers with what their problems that they were facing in their estates.

    When louis XVI failed to escape more and more people were upset at the king for trying to escape and not face his punishment. This lead to more unrest within the country making them more upset and angry with the Monarchy that they have. When Prussia got word that the king failed to escape the king of prussia made threats saying that they better not harm the king or prussia will invade and intervean witht he revolution.
