    On this day the last king of Frace was crownded, Louis XVI. He was married to Marie Antoinette, who would later get the nick name madam deficite. Together they would slowly push the nation into revoultion.

    Depudies of the Thrid Estate, wo represented the low class of France which contian most of the countries population, were locked out of the confrece room with the other delagates. These people would then meet an indoor tennis court and they made an oath to never stop meeting untilthe new French constituion was adpoted.

    On this day Revoulsinsts stormed the Royal fortrest located int the center of Paris. To them, this building symbolized the tyranny of the monarch and how unfair they treated them. When they stormed the fortress they were fired on by the FRench solider who at first refused to fire on the crowd. They then tore down the palace with their bare hand untill there was nothing left. This was the unoffical start of the revoultion.

    This is the constitution that teh national covention made during the French Revoultion. This was restricted to “active” citizens who paid a minimal sum in taxes and only gave abotyu 2/3 of men the right to vote. This only lated less than a year.

    This asembly is what governed France during some of the most important parts of the French Revoultion. It was created to make a new constitution for the new France instead of for the Monarch one. It wade made of 749 deputies from all differnt kinds of backrounds.

    This was a politicla body that gained lots of power during the French Rvoultion, especlly during the Reign of Terror. It was created to provide France with defense from enimes and to oversee the already existing organs of executive government. By the time it was destryed it had 12 members that were elected by the National Convention.

    After being tried by the new Frnch Government, Louis the XVI was found guilty of high treason was was sentenced to death by execution. When was about to die he tried to make a speech, but it was drownded out by the sounds of the drms. He died the lat monarch of France.

    The was a time of great violence that happened after the onset of the French Revoultion. This was due to the fear of civil war from the Vendée and the hostile armies that surrounded Frace from all sides. During this time if you so much as accused as a possiable thret to the governemt you would by tried and killed that day. During this time it is estamted that about 300,000 suspects were arrested, 17,000 were officaly executed, and about 10,000 died in prison or without trial.

    On this day the last Quen of France, Marie Antoinette , was sentenced to death by the guillotine. This happened years after the death of her husband, King Louis and after her kids were taken away from her. She was foud guilty for high treason, like her husband, and died the same way.

    This was established by the Nation Convention during the Thermidorian Reaction in the French Revoultion. This constitution established a liberal republic and had a Franchise based on the payment of taxes. This also gave the power back to the central goverment.
