The Esrtates General were called to solve the states financial issues. Each Estate had a single vote allowing for upper classes to always overrule the lower glasses. The third estate chose to make their own assembly. People with muskets began firing on armed guards in the Bastille. Soon a lrage crowd with muskets, swords, and makeshift weapons had gathered. The crowd started raiding the Bastille and after it fell King Louis XIV withdrew troops. The fall of Robespierre began when he sentenced friends ti the guilotine. He killed them because they were rumored to have sided with the king. . He went on a downward spiral and was eventually killed.
