    This was The first Meeting in 175 years to approve the new taxes that Louis XVI wanted to impose. It was also the first meeting since 1614

    The delagates of the Third Estate vote to establish the National Assembly in effect proclaming the end of the absolute monarchy and the beginning of representative government.

  • Storming of The Bastille

    The people of Louis XVI attacked France, and the people began to gather weapons in order to defend France. The fall of the Bastille became a great symbolic act of revolution to Frecnh people.
