    Louis the xvi was married to Marie Antoinette. Louis the xvi was married with Marie to put a stop to the war between France and Austria. France and Austria were in a war for generations and this marriage was arranged to make an alliance between the two.

    This is the begging of the french revolution in my opinion. Louis the xvi did not want to be king and this was one of the major downfalls this and his incompetence on ruling. He also became king at a young age his father died early then expected so he had to take up the crown when he was young.

    The Bastille was a big prison/armory. Mobs stormed the prison looking for weapons.Prisoners are set free and the guards are murdered by the mobs.This was a major event because it was the first violate act of the revolution. This act of violence was not reprimanded so it showed the mobs that they could use violence to hurt the government without repercussions.

King Louis does not agree to the demands of the women and they storm the palace looking for blood.The women corner King Louis the xvi and in the end the force him to sign the declaration of man and also force him to move to Paris so they have control over him.

    Louis the xvi is is executed on January 21, 1793. Louis the xvi was executed because he was unwilling to give his royal power to the revolutionary government. Louis the xvi was put on trail and found for guilty for treason and condemned to death.

Many people got worried that they would be one of the people he was talking about because he declined to say the names. This is his final mistake his colleagues use this as an appropriate to strike and he is rejected when he tries to speak and beheaded.

    Napoleon was the best France general in his time he had many victories and many people called him unbeatable on land. On 1799 Napoleon launched a successful coup d'etat and replaced the government bodies and declared himself emperor of France.

    Napoleon made a decree that stopped any shipping to the British and if caught it would be seized. He also created a blockade to stop the trade of British goods. The British responded by finding new markets in Asia,Africa and the middle east.

    Napoleons final battle as emperor of France was the battle of Waterloo where he meet Prussia and British army and was defeated. This was the British last chance with Napoleon and he was shipped to St.Helena and lived in exile for 6 years before he died in 1821.
