King Louis XVI calls a meeting to the estates general to discuss the financial/ economic issues in France. Louis feels threatened by the third estate and ends up locking them out of the meeting hall.

The third estate gets very angry after being locked out of the meeting hall and decides to break in to the tennis court at Versailles and create the National Assembly, they make the tennis court oath that says that they will not stop meeting there until they have made a constitution.

In the Summer of 1789 the Nobility in France began to fear the third estates violence after the storming of the Bastille and began to flee France.

The National assembly creates the declaration of rights of man. This frustrated the nobility society greatly. The decleration ultimately took away all power from the nobility and the king.

After many of the third estates are suffering from starvation in Paris, many women match Versailles after hearing about their large inventory of flour. When they got there they killed guards and ransacked the palace looking for the Queen. They ended up leaving with the flour.

After Louis becomes fearful of the National assembly he orders troops around Paris and mobs begin to defend themselves. They storm the Bastille; a prison and armory. They set free Prisoners and kill guards looking for weapons.

King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette try to flee France in order to dodge the violence from the revolution. They disguised themselves as servants and started on their long carriage ride to the borders of France and Austria. The king was arrested and they both were brought back to Paris.

Louis XVI was put on trial for trying to betray France to the Austrians, after the attempt to fleeing to Austria. He was executed officially by the reason of treason. He was sent to to the guillotine.

Marat, a very important journalist/ news writer was killed by Charlotte Corday. She had thought that killing Marat would put a stop the violence. Marat's death was glorified and he was said to be a hero

Marie was put in solitary confinement, separated from her children and the world. After a fast trial Marie is accused of treason and is sentenced to death. She was humiliated on her dreadful ride to the guillotine.

Robespierre became the leader of the committee of public safety. The committee of public safety began listening in on peoples conversations, they would execute people if they were against the revolution They believed that everyone was equal which made the church one of its enemies.

Robespierre and his followers created a new calendar during the french revolution to wipe out past France and create a republic of virtue. This was ran by terror which supported democracy. This calendar still consisted of twelve months but had 3 weeks in each month consisting of 10 day each. These were not called weeks but decades.

Robespierre created this festival to worship reason rather than God. Robespierre had many of his followers angered after he had many of his fellow politicians killed. They decide to get him arrested. He gets locked in a room.

After being arrested and locked in a room with some of his followers who had also been arrested. They are all taken to the guillotine. They are all humiliated before being put to death

For the next years to come France fears terror, and monarchy. Many people seek revenge after many of their family member's were killed. France is stuck in the period known as the white terror.
