This French constiution limmited the powers of the monarchs and divided the government into three branches. Hoever, the government was unbalanced,so it was only in effect for about a year. -

When the Legislative Assembly suspended the office of king, the Pursian marched to the royal home. They killed guards of King Louis XVI and captured him and his family. -

This constitution of France was made because many people did not like the last one. This constitution included a legislature with two houses. It had also taken away manhood suffrage. However, the constitution had quickly become unliked. -
