The National Assembly tried getting rid of things hurting the peasants to reduce the violence and eventually just got rid of feudalism all together.

The common women marched to Versailles due to a shortage on flower an ingredient necessary to make a key part of a french diet, bread.

The National Assembly concluded making a constitution for France. It limited the king's power and had three branches.
Also the National Assembly was dissolved. -
Louis XVI was brought to trail by the National Convention with the charge of plotting against the nation's security. He was found guilty and consequently beheaded.

The National Assembly killed off anyone suspected of disloyalty. Some where around 40,000 were killed.

Daton was a leader of the revolution who thought because the french army was winning it's war the Reign of Terror should be relaxed.

The National Convention turned on their leader. He and a few of his followers were arrested and attempted suicide, they succeeded but he merely passed out with a bullet to the jaw. He was then taken and beheaded by the guillotine.

France had been invaded by Prussia and Austria that it finally drove away.

He was given command of the french army which was fighting the austrians in Italy 2 days later.

He was able to defeat the Austrian's army and made them hand over all of northern Italy.
