The Device Is Noted For Long Being The Main Method Of Execution In France And More Particularly For Its Use During The French Revolution.

He Was The Creator Of The Reign Of Terror And Was Eventually Sent To The Guillotine Himself In 1794 After The French Turned Against Him When Their Eyes Were Opened And Saw What He Had Done. He Didnt Get A Trial And Was Beheaded Faced Upwards.
