the deputies were shocked to discover the doors to their chamber locked and guarded by soliders. immeadiatley fearing the worst and anxious that a royal coup was imminent, the deputies congregated in the kings nearby indoor tennis court, where they took a solemn collective oath to meet in the tennis courts until the constitution was written. -

the demonstrators of the 3rd estate in france had earlier stormed to gather muskets but without gun powder and were mainly seeking to acquire the large quantities of arms and ammunition stored at the Bastille. -

The revolution led to the development of new political forces such as democracy and nationalism. it questioned the authority of kings, priests, and nobles. the revolution also gave new meaning and new ideas to the political ideas of the people. -

After the passage of the declaration, within the National assembly, minority groups throughtout the french empire fought to be included as french citizens and thus recieve equal rights. -

one day thousands of angry women were tired of their starving families while the king ate a feast everyday so they went on a march with weapons and cannons to get food from the king. they did not only get food but they brought the king to their conditions forever. -

However when they went to change their horses, the King decided to take a rest. They were recognized immediately and taken into custody, when they reached the small town of Varennes, six miles from the German border. -
